A great capture. A new backdrop.01 / THE RIGHT START
Before using our Background Removal service, you’ll need to complete certification. Start with these capture essentials.
Use a white, non-high-key background. Fleece (Westcott recommended), paper, muslin, or vinyl are suitable options.
The white backdrop should photograph as light to medium gray. Avoid lighting it to bright, high-key white.
Make sure the entire subject stays within the backdrop. Check your framing before taking each sample.
Each image must be under 8 MB and 24 MP. The form checks both when you add a JPG or PNG.
A white backdrop can look gray in-camera. That’s ideal—keep your light on the subject.
